New spaces at FEP

Bloomberg Finance Lab, powered by Natixis
A new space designed to bring students closer to the reality of global financial markets through the use of advanced technology. It is equipped with 12 Bloomberg terminals, provided by the world’s leading company in financial technology and information.
Through these systems, it will be possible to access real-time economic and financial data, follow key news impacting the markets, and make use of a wide range of analytical and simulation tools employed daily by industry professionals worldwide.

Research and Development Building
The new Research and Development Building hosts the Career and Development Service, CEF.UP, and doctoral students, who are expected to begin using the facilities in the coming weeks. This modern space strengthens FEP’s commitment to innovation, research, and student engagement.

Monument of public interest
Since 1974, the School of Economics and Management has been located in the Asprela Campus of the University of Porto, in the north-eastern area of the city. The main building, designed by architect Alfredo Viana de Lima, is a landmark in the history of Portuguese modern architecture and is classified as a monument of public interest.
